Nobody has done more to bring the wisdom of extraordinary Japanese masters to our work and lives than Norman Bodek.

I first met Norman Bodek in 1992 when he was the founder and President at Productivity, Inc – Press when our mutual passions for improving the workplace brought us together.

A few of his many accomplishments include:

– Often called the Godfather of Lean

– Started the Shingo Prize

– Inducted into Industry Week’s Hall of Fame

– Inducted into American Manufacturing Excellence Association (AME) Hall of Fame

– Author of many books and publisher of hundreds

Recently, Norman graciously agreed to write the Foreward for my upcoming new book that will be published by Apress in August.

I’d like to share a quote that Norman wrote in the Foreward:

“The world of work is changing and instead of just designing work for machines and then slotting people in to work with them; now a new horizon is shining, and we are finally realizing that people can be very productive as we expand their capabilities.”

On June 19th, Norman will conduct a free webinar called The Human Side of Lean.

I guarantee you that Norman will share a wealth of new ideas that will help you lead a better and happier life. I highly recommend you find the time to sign up and attend.

To your great work life & success!

P. S. I also highly recommend you read the interview we did with Norman. You can find it at The Future of the Workplace book site.
